The Phi Phi Islands are among Thailand’s most famous travel destinations—and for good reason. Turquoise waters, dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden lagoons, and gleaming white-sand beaches make this archipelago one of the most beautiful spots in Southeast Asia.
Our day trip from Phuket takes you directly to the heart of this island world in a relaxed and safe manner. Accompanied by an experienced guide—including hotel transfer, lunch, and snorkeling gear.
The Phi Phi Islands (Thai: Koh Phi Phi) are among the most iconic island destinations in Thailand. Located in the Andaman Sea, approximately 46 kilometres southeast of Phuket, this tropical archipelago belongs administratively to Krabi Province and consists of six islands.
Phi Phi Don is the largest and only inhabited island within the archipelago. Visitors will find beachfront resorts, restaurants, lively Tonsai Village, and stunning beaches such as Long Beach and Laem Thong Beach. One of the island’s most spectacular attractions is the famous Phi Phi Viewpoint. After climbing around 300 steps, visitors are rewarded with one of Thailand’s most breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the island’s twin bays and narrow sand isthmus.
Phi Phi Leh is uninhabited and home to Thailand’s most famous bay: Maya Bay. It became world-famous thanks to the Hollywood film “The Beach” (2000) starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Today, access is regulated and visitor numbers are limited—which has restored the bay to its original beauty. All around: the breathtaking Pileh Lagoon and the legendary Viking Cave.
A delicious lunch on Phi Phi Don will give you a boost of energy for the afternoon. To round off the day in style, the tour heads to Khai Island: shallow, turquoise waters, fine sand and ideal conditions for one last snorkelling adventure. Or simply for a quiet hour on the beach. For those who particularly love the Khai Islands: the 3 Khai Islands speedboat tour is also available as a standalone excursion.
This tour is designed so that you don’t have to worry about a thing. The following is included in the package:
The waters surrounding the Phi Phi Islands are considered among the best snorkelling destinations in southern Thailand.
Several snorkelling stops during the tour provide excellent opportunities to discover vibrant marine life and crystal-clear tropical waters.
Choosing the right travel season can significantly influence your overall Phi Phi Islands holiday experience.
The ideal time to visit: sunny, little rain, calm seas. Perfect conditions for snorkelling, swimming and boat trips. Maya Bay and all other spots are accessible (except in August/September). High season: December to March – early booking recommended.
During the rainy season, the sea can be rougher, and individual tours may be cancelled at short notice due to weather conditions. However, the lower prices and fewer tourists can still make it an attractive option. Important: Maya Bay is completely closed from August to September (environmental protection measures).
Combine your Phuket holiday with other unforgettable excursions in the Andaman Sea:
The dramatic limestone cliffs of Phang Nga Bay – made famous by the Bond film “The Man with the Golden Gun” – can be reached by longtail boat or speedboat. An absolute highlight for film fans and nature lovers.
The Similan Islands are considered one of the best diving destinations in the world. Pristine coral reefs, crystal-clear waters and an impressive variety of marine life await you on this full-day excursion from Phuket.
Ideal for a shorter island excursion: the three Khai Islands offer stunning sandy beaches, calm waters and excellent snorkelling conditions – perfect as a half-day alternative.
For those looking to escape the hustle and bustle: Racha Island (Raya Island) captivates with its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed atmosphere away from the crowds of tourists.
Demand for well-organized Phi Phi Islands tours is high—especially during the peak season from December to March. Book your spot early and start your unforgettable day with peace of mind.
