The Phi Phi ferry connects Rassada with Tonsai and is a crossing with bags – the ฿2,490 day tour lives on another page. Railay has no road: usually it is Krabi first, then a longtail. Samui is rarely reached by a ship in a straight line; budget a full day for it.

In monsoon, ferries run late or cancel; the airport transfer runs in any weather. In high season (December to March) the morning crossings to Phi Phi sell out quickly. A booking is only complete once the child-seat request, flight number and terminal are on the voucher.
