Phuket’s cabaret classic: 70 minutes of glamour in Patong
Simon Cabaret is the island’s best-known drag show, right in the middle of Patong Beach – just minutes from the hotels around Bangla Road. On stage: a world-class cast of drag and transgender performers with playback vocals from international pop hits to classic cabaret, precise choreography, comedy and costumes that make you look twice.
The show runs 70 minutes, three times daily – at 6:00, 7:30 and 9:00 pm. Afterwards there is the famous photo session with the performers outside the theatre (small extra fee). The atmosphere is family-friendly, but this is a night for adults and teens, not a kids’ show; per the operator it is not suitable for children under 6.
The transfer is free within Patong; for other zones there is a private van (max. 10 people, +฿1,500) – or arrive on your own. VIP seats cost a ฿200 supplement, standard seats are included. No buffet or meals – plenty of restaurants around the theatre for before or after.
How your cabaret evening runs
- Hotel pickup: about 30 minutes before showtime – free in Patong (other zones: private van +฿1,500 or self-arrival).
- Arrival & check-in: Simon Cabaret Theatre in Patong, first impressions of the pre-show atmosphere.
- Doors open: about 15 minutes before the show, find your seat (standard or VIP).
- Show (70 min): Drag cabaret with song, dance, comedy and elaborate costumes.
- Photo session: Meet & greet with the performers outside the theatre (extra fee).
- Return transfer: back to your hotel (if booked).
Example 7:30 pm show: pickup 7:00 pm · arrival 7:30 pm · doors 7:45 pm · show 8:00–9:10 pm · return transfer from 9:30 pm. Same pattern for the 6:00 and 9:00 pm shows.

I had heard so much about the Simon Cabaret Show, and it truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was well-organized – the hotel pickup was punctual, and the venue itself was elegant and comfortable.
The performers were absolutely incredible – their costumes were stunning, the choreography was flawless, and the energy on stage was infectious. The mix of dance, music, and comedy kept us entertained the entire time. It was clear that a lot of effort went into every detail, from the lighting to the extravagant stage sets.
One of the highlights was the variety of performances—each act brought something new, from classic cabaret numbers to international pop hits. The lip-syncing was on point, and some of the comedic moments had the audience laughing out loud!
At the end of the show, we had the chance to take photos with the performers (for a small fee), which was a great way to end the evening. If you’re in Patong Beach, this is an absolute must-see! The show is family-friendly, visually stunning, and an unforgettable experience.
Tip: Book your tickets in advance and arrive early for the best seats!

Ich musste x-mal genau hinschauen und habe es bei manchen nicht glauben können. Meine Freundin kann es immer noch nicht glauben. Fantastische Bühnenshow. Wir hatten den Standardsitzplatz und alles sehr gut sehen können. Transvestiten sind ja nicht jedermanns Sache, aber ich finde so eine Show sollte man einmal in seinem Leben gesehen haben.
